Event description
The good news is that you CAN teach self esteem and children can learn to be more confident in themselves.

About this Event

At this event we will talk about our child’s self esteem (and confidence) because:

  • Healthy self esteem is important as without it children often feel trapped and lonely and can be stopped from trying new and exciting things such as: meeting people, achieving in school, going to activities, parties, play-dates, even participating in family discussions and general life.
  • Low self-esteem to can lead to behavioural issues, anxiety and sometimes even depression.
  • Once children have improved self-esteem it will help them to feel happier and more successful in all walks of life – relationships, school, and activities.

The good news is that you CAN teach self esteem and children can learn to be more confident in themselves.

Topics that we will cover:

  • Confidence is not genetic but can be socially inherited. Nature vs. Nurture. If you feel that you suffer from low-confidence take a step back and heal yourself to break the family patterns.
  • What is the difference between self confidence and self esteem?
  • What IS the real issue when talking about your child's confidence?
  • 5 things we can do as parents to boost our child's self esteem.

So let’s get started boosting our kid’s self esteem!
