Description

This event is arranged by NatWest bank partnering with T4C and the Barking Enterprise Centre to coincide with International Women in Business Day which is on 8th March. We are proud to be supporting Women In Business and as a bank we are holding events throughout the country on a nationwide level in March aimed at supporting local markets with local speakers.

Did you know that £3.51 billion was contributed to the UK economy in 2015 and 798,000 jobs in the UK were generated d by businesses started in the UK by women between 2002-2015.

This event, at the Barking Enterprise Centre, Cambridge Road, Barking is brought to Essex by the local NatWest Business Growth Enablers all of whom have gone through NatWest's Women in Business accreditation programme.

We are aiming the event at business owners/entrepreneurs who have already started their business and are looking to take it to the next level. We are delighted to have a range of speakers who are all successful in their own fields and looking to share tips and experiences with you.

The speakers are:-

Daniel Copsey & Rahul Modasia, both Business Growth Enablers within NatWest Business Banking. They both have the ability to form long term relationships and have an in-depth knowledge across all SME markets. They provide clients with their own opportunity to network and look after two separate teams of Relationship Managers who service over 4000 different businesses on a day to day basis.

They are a key part of the new exciting Business Growth Enabler Team for NatWest which was launched across the country in April 2016. They work with customers pro-actively looking at ways we can assist with cash flow, improve their return and make their banking easier . They are able to provide solutions to the main challenges that SME businesses are likely to face.

John Cockburn-Evans, he has held senior leadership roles for manufacturing and engineering disciplines in large global corporate companies such as BASF & DuPont, and recently lead the UK team for an international consultancy. He has consulted for major corporate clients in the areas of “Operational Excellence” & “Lean Thinking”. John guides businesses in removing “waste” from their operations using the foundations of “Lean” principles, reducing cost and improving top line growth. He is also a certified professional coach, and coaches the leaders to engage with employees, in a way that allows them to drive the improvements systemically and consistently. He has also lectured on the topic of “Change Management” at the University of Suffolk eMBA course, and now runs his own consultancy business.

Celine McGeown, is a Growth Manager for T4C Funding. Celine's background is in business devlopment, communications and organisational skills . She is now more focused on supporting the growth of SME's in the South of England and she will explain how your business can access the grant funding arena and gain a share of millions of pounds of funding available to support business.
