After a break from live performance, whilst recording their new album, The Richard

Booth Band returns to the stage with core members Richard Booth and David

Cornelius Eger. Operating with a variable line-up, hence the current name, additional

members will be confirmed shortly.

The music is best described as atmospheric, folk-rock, as in the video 'Terra

Firma' which can be found on YouTube, as a foretaste of the style of material which

will feature on the album, 'Through The Door', due for imminent release.

Richard Booth's musical history stretches from pub rock and Stiff Records signings

'Plummet Airlines' through Psychedelic, Reggae and Country Rock, before

performing with his own outfit 'The Richard Booth Band'.

He decamped from London for a more laid back life in Wales to explore a more

acoustic rock style of expression.

Mandolin supremo and multi instrumentalist Cornelius Eger,(The Klezmonauts) has

been his long time collaborator, adding a new dimension to Richard's material.
