Join Sustrans on a wildlife and well-being walk around Halbullock Moor, Truro.
We will meet at Truro Bus Station at 10:45 where you will see a Sustrans walk leader in Hi Vis, we will take a bus together to the Lay By on Tresawls Road. We will walk from the bus stop towards Halbullock Moor and have a gentle, circular walk around the woods. Halbullock Moor is an urban wildlife haven, managed by Cornwall Wildlife Trust. There will be an opportunity to learn about the trees, birds and other wildlife we find on this walk. We will take the bus back to Truro Bus Station and return there for 1-1:30pm.
This walk is a mostly flat circular route where it follows a boardwalk for a portion of it. There is a sloped section on the route down to the nature reserve and back up to bus and during winter and spring it is muddy! It is also uneven in places. Appropriate footwear is a must.
This walk is fully funded through Sustrans, in partnership with Cornwall Council. A funded return bus ticket will be supplied.
Any further enquiries or if you would like an informal chat prior to the walk, please contact: cornwall@sustrans.org.uk
This walk may be cancelled in the event of adverse weather. All participants will be notified accordingly. Unfortunately dogs cannot be brought on this guided walk.
