In this feel-good, two-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to create a Zentangle® masterpiece with a beautiful border as your frame. We'll explore tangle patterns that are perfect for framing your artwork—and add colour for that extra bit of magic!
Border tiles are fabulous for sending as thoughtful mini gifts—add an inspiring message, someone's initials, or even a 'Happy Birthday' and pop them in the post. You can leave them as they are or frame them for a truly special present.
What You’ll Learn:
- Tangle Techniques: I’ll guide you through a mix of fun and elegant patterns that work beautifully for borders.
- Designing Your Border: You'll learn how to create balance in your design and how to manage those tricky corners.
- Make It Yours: You'll fill your tile with a mini message with faux calligraphy or a design of your choice, and then add colour and metallics to make it pop!
- Bonus: You'll receive a faux calligraphy alphabet after the session so you can develop your skills if you're new to this kind of writing.
We’ll Also Be…🎨 Colouring your tiles! I’ll be using watercolour brush pens and gel pens, but you're welcome to bring coloured pencils, watercolour pencils, gel pens—whatever you love to use.
