Border Lines brings an evening of bi-lingual live literature to Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin, hosted by poet and educator Cat Brogan.This event features:

  • Cormac Mac Gearailt – Irish Poetry Slam Champion
  • Sam Ó Fearraigh – Irish-language poet and performer
  • Robert Arbuckle – North West poet and spoken word artist
  • The Queer Writers Circle – fresh voices from the local LGBTQ+ writing community

This bilingual evening celebrates contemporary Irish writing, blending established and emerging voices from the North West and beyond.

📚 Afternoon Workshop (2.30 - 4.30pm, Little Acorns Bookstore, £10)Join Cormac Mac Gearailt for a two-hour spoken word poetry workshop. Designed for beginners and intermediate writers, you’ll explore how to generate ideas, draft and edit your work, and develop your unique voice.
