Borough Market - Find and Feast
Fri 26 May 2017, 11:00 – 14:00 BST
Join Ceri Buckmaster on a wild food walk around Southwark and discover how to identify seasonal plants and flowers in some unexpected locations, then finish the morning at the demonstration kitchen in Borough Market and learn how to cook delicious recipes using them with Celia Brooks.
Ceri has been leading walks in London’s green spaces since 2008, shining a spotlight on wild food as the ‘new street food’, inspired by the wild plants that grow in urban areas, as well as by the people and diverse food traditions present in the city. Celia, a regular Borough Market chef and blogger, is the author of eight fundamentally vegetarian cookery books and a very experienced allotmenteer, who grows for the table and for pleasure.
A limited number of tickets are available for the Walk (11am-12.30pm), so booking is essential. The meeting point is at Borough Market's Information Office in Three Crown Square.
Everyone is welcome to join the free cookery demonstration which takes place between 12.30-2pm for professional tips, delicious samples and recipe cards.
What's the refund policy?
In the unlikely event you are unable to attend the Walk and need to cancel your booking, you must notify Borough Market via email or phone within 5 business days (Monday - Friday) of the date of the Walk booked. Once you have notified Borough Market of your cancellation, a full refund will be issued. No refund or transfer of purchase will be given for cancellations received within 5 business days of the date of the Walk.
