Description

BOS Labour Women's Forum proudly presents a fantastic all-female comedy show on Wednesday the 7th of March at 7.30pm in the Roebuck pub http://www.theroebuck.net. We will be celebrating International Women's Day, commemorating 100 years since women got the vote and having fun along the way. This event is open to ALL Southwark Labour members and will be free of charge however we will be asking for donations on the day to help fund our newly formed Women’s Forum.

*This night will be popular so do book as soon as you can ! Please also bring your Labour Membership Card on the night*


Comedians:

Simone Belshaw

Simone Belshaw is a Canadian born comic currently living in London. Her style mixes metaphor with observational storytelling, creating an odd and memorable experience. Simone was a finalist in the 2017 South Coast Comedian of The Year and is a regional finalist for Funny Women Awards 2017/18.

Arielle Souma

Arielle Souma's distinctive style has seen her rapidly becoming a hit on the circuit. From her background as a mixed race woman from France to her dating tips Arielle is fearce, fiesty and oh so funny. Her many accolades include New Act of The Year finalist ,Frog & Bucket Manchester " World Series finalist "
"So You Think You're Funny " finalist , Funny Women Awards Finalist and King Gong at The Comedy Store.


Sasha Ellen

Sasha is an actor, writer and stand-up. Her first solo stand-up show, Accidents Happen to Sasha Ellen transferred to the Soho Theatre last year. "Always engaging"- Chortle,"Genuinely fresh " -The Scotsman

Fatiha El-Ghorri

Fatiha El Ghorri is a rising star creating a buzz on the circuit. She slams down stereotypes of muslim women giving a frank and funny account of what it's like to wear a hijaab in Britain. Fatiha recently performed at the Royal Albert Hall and is on the way up. Catch her here first!

Victoria Howden

Have you ever wanted to see your life set as a musical? Well Cabaret Comedian Victoria Howden has. Victoria's powerhouse voice and playful punchlines feature in 'Lesboland The Musical' Brilliant tales of growing up in Israel via the North of England and the wife who changed everything. Her songs have attracted fans from comedians , critics and comedy audiences alike.

MC Suzi Wild - Suzi Wild is a comedian and talented impressionist. Within a year of being on the circuit she made the finals of Laughing Horse New Act of The Year and Semi Finals of . 'So You Think you're Funny?’.Suzi has been scouted by TV production companies and filmed sizzle reels for major TV channels ITV2, ITV and Sony. Suzi has hosted a radio show The Stand Up Sit Down on ONFM and voiced various comedy podcasts including the broadcast award nominated Live From Kirrin Island.
