Botanical Plaster Casting Workshop
Come join us at The Clearing Community (CIC) for a fun and creative workshop where you will learn how to make a beautiful plaster casting using real plants and flowers.
This is a two-part workshop and is perfect for beginners and seasoned creatives alike, you will be guided by a professional artist and teacher.
You are welcome to gather & bring your own plant and organic matter, if you wish.
Over two sessions, you will:
- Learn the technique of clay mould making
- Discover how to create organic and botanical textural impressions
- Learn how to safely mix and cast plaster
- Refine, paint & seal your plaster relief. Resulting in an impressive permanent work of art to keep, or to give as a thoughtful gift!
Part 1: (19th August 6 - 8pm)

Part 2: (26th August 6 - 8pm)
- Learn how to sculpt & refine plaster
