This December Susanna Edwards re-joins the community for two classes to create a winter sanctuary, focusing on yoga for stress relief.
The holidays demand a lot; it’s time to gently reinforce your internal walls. This class is dedicated to building your inner fortress of calm. We start with intentional self-massage and acupressure to establish a deep connection to your body, making you acutely aware of where tension is held. We then move into a sequence of grounding Yin poses to anchor you firmly in the present moment, completing with a deeply held restorative pose. You will leave with an understanding of "Energetic Fences"—simple breath and somatic exercises to help you maintain your personal space and say 'no' without actually saying it, so you can preserve your energy (and your sanity) this Christmas.
