Right in the heart of Bournville lies George Cadbury's extraordinary gift to the local community, the Bournville Carillon. With 48 bells, the Bournville Carillon ranks as one of the finest and largest instruments of its kind in Great Britain.

What is your tour cancellation policy?

All tour tickets at payable on the day prior to the tour's start and we offer a flexible cancellation policy. However, due to high demand and low visitor numbers per tour, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible by calling at 07986 552770 or emailing us at tours@bournvillecarillon.co.uk

Are your yours accessible to people with disabilities?

Unfortunately, our tours are not accessible to people with disabilities due to health & safety reasons. During the tour be prepared to tackle 2 low doorways, 4 flights of concrete stairs, as well as a small winding metal staircase in order to reach the top of the bell tower!

Is there a minimum height requirement in order to participate in your tours?

The minimum height for participating in a tour is 110cm.

How loud are the bells?

When on the top of the tower, the bells can be quite loud. However, ear protection will be provided to all tour participants.

Are photos and videos allowed during the tours?

Of course! If anyhting, they are highly encouraged! Please make sure to tag us on social media and leave us a Google and/or Tripadvisor review.

How much does a tour cost?

Our tour prices are currently set at £6 for an adult and £3 for a child. However, all members of the Friends of Bournville Carillon can go for free!

How often is the Carillon being played?

The Carillon is played every Saturday (with a few exceptions) at 12pm and 3pm, as well as on certain special occasions throughout the year!

Can I get any Carillon souvenirs after my tour?

All our tours start and finish at the Bournville Carillon Visitor Centre located at The Rest House in the heart of the Bournville Village Green. We have a selection of souvenirs and other locally crafted items for you to choose from! As a registered charity, we appreciate any purchase you make!

Can I make a donation towards the Bournville Carillon?

We would love you to make a donation, no matter how small or large. Every donation makes a huge difference for our charity and all funds go towards the upkeep and promotion of the Bournville Carillon. Please ask one of our tour guides or volunteers at Bournville Carillon Visitor Centre.
