Running fortnightly on Thursday lunchtimes, our Autism Support Workers will be leading short topic-based online sessions for parents, carers and family members of autistic, or suspected autistic, children.

The sessions are available for ad hoc drop-in, but the main purpose is relationship building and ongoing therapeutic support for families most in need, and peer support for regular attendees. Sessions are run in order and build on each other.

Professionals, who are not parents, are directed to other training sessions, as this is intended to be a confidential and safe space for families.

Each session will have time for confidential discussions, sharing of experiences, feedback and questions. These sessions are not recorded and are intended for parents, carers and family members from the Coventry and Warwickshire areas only.

It is important that we respect each other’s confidentiality and do not discuss anything heard in this session with anyone who was not in attendance. Please access the meeting in a confidential, quiet space that is not available to the public or other non-attendees. You do not need to keep your camera on throughout but please arrive early with your camera on to be admitted.

An attendance certificate can be issued upon request once twenty or more sessions have been completed. This will show that you have attended a programme of Autism Toolboxes for parents/carers covering a diverse range of topics.

There is no need to print tickets out to attend this event.
