🎙️ About the Speakers:

Dr Mario Marrone (UK) was formerly a hospital psychiatrist in the National Health Service (UK). Currently, he is a psychotherapist in private practice. He qualified as a medical doctor at the National University of Rosario (Argentina), trained in group analysis at the Institute of Group Analysis (London), in psychodrama in Buenos Aires and in psychoanalysis at the Institute of Psychoanalysis (London). He has also trained in family therapy, tantra and meditation in the UK. He has participated in multifamily therapy groups in (Elche) Spain. He has extensive experience in treating a variety of psychological, emotional and relational difficulties. He trained in attachment theory and its clinical applications in London (having been a direct disciple of John Bowlby at the Tavistock Clinic) and published and lectured internationally and extensively on the subject. He is a founder member and active member of the International Attachment Network and the Journal Attachment and Human Development. In recent years, he has become very interested in Functional Medicine and healthy lifestyle. In this way, he is integrating his psychoanalytic and psychodynamic knowledge with his medical background and a holistic view of psychosocial and psychosomatic issues. Currently, he offers individual therapy online. He also offers clinical supervision for psychotherapists. He lives between the UK and Spain. https://www.mariomarrone.com/en/

Dr Nicola Diamond was a Senior Lecturer in Psychosocial Studies, University of East London, and teacher at the Tavistock Clinic. She is also a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist (BPC reg). She runs a private practice. Previously worked as a psychotherapist for The Helen Bamber Foundation (for survivors of torture and trauma) and at the Women’s Therapy Centre in London. She is the author of Between Skins: The Body in Psychoanalysis -Contemporary Developments; Wiley &Sons (2013) and co-author of Attachment and Intersubjectivity with Mario Marrone; Whurrs publisher (2003).
