Join a high-tempo workshop focussing on male ballet technique and choreography, led by former Royal Ballet Soloist Josh Tuifua.
The 3-hour classes are designed to develop core strength, musicality, presentation and performance skills and will cover four key stages, all with live pianist accompaniment.
Warm-up and core strengthening exercises - using fun ideas and props to work on key areas of the body to help improve alignment, balance and control.
Classical ballet technique - working at the barre and in the centre on male technique.
Virtuosity, Performance Skills and Presentation - taking a closer look at leaps, jumps and turns.
Choreographic workshop - providing inspiration to allow the boys to work together in small groups or pairs, choreographing their own sequences with the opportunity to perform to each other.
