Event description

Description

Be inspired in a fun weekend of movement designed specifically for boys aged 8–18.

Boys Only! is a creative high-energy, two-day workshop designed to build your coordination, strength and alignment, and is led by experienced male teachers. Bring a friend and enjoy energetic contemporary/creative dance combined with athletic ballet and upbeat Street Jazz sessions. Ballet and creative classes feature live musical accompaniment.

The weekend finishes with a presentation for parents and guardians, and a Q&A with your teachers.

Who can attend?
Boys aged 8-18 years, suitable for beginners and those with some dance experience in any style.

Duration/Time:
10.00am – 5.00pm each day (approximately). A full timetable will be sent to attendees following the closing date. Attendees are required to bring a packed lunch each day.

Boys Only! courses are subsidised by the Boys Only! Fund which was established to provide opportunities for male students to access dance.
