About this event

This course is aimed at domestic heating engineers and plumbers who have completed or are working towards SVQ Level 3 (or have equivalent experience).

The course covers the method of operation of unvented hot water systems through a series of topics including:

  • Advantages and disadvantages of an unvented hot water storage system
  • The legislation covering installation and maintenance
  • Building Standards
  • System components and their function

Candidates will need to provide the following evidence:

  • SVQ Level 2 in plumbing or heating or,
  • Proof of working towards one or,
  • Evidence of experience in the plumbing or heating industry

You will be required to bring with you to the course:

  • Photo ID
  • 2 x passport photos
