We want you to get the most out of your visit, so we've put together a list of handy tips to help you!

  1. Do your research - If you are interested in a particular course, check the entry requirements, do you meet the criteria, or could there be a similar course at a different level that is better suited?
  2. Plan your travel - If traveling via public transport, please keep an eye on the First Buses website or Northern Rail for changes to local transport. If you are traveling via car, view our information about parking.
  3. Come prepared - Bring a list of questions that you'd like to ask our staff, we're here to help you!
  4. Gather information - Gather as much information as you can in the form of leaflets and prospectuses to help you make your decision.
  5. Talk to current/past students - Our friendly student ambassadors will be on hand on the day to answer any questions
  6. Don't forget to talk to our Careers, Advice and Guidance and Finance teams - They will be available to answer questions, offer advice and discuss any support that is available to you.
  7. Bring a friend/family member - Bring a friend/family member along with you, whether for moral support or whether they may have questions of their own they'd like to ask.
