Bradford Manufacturing Weeks 2021 will take place between 4th and 15th October with the aim of introducing the district’s manufacturers to young people and boost apprenticeship numbers by creating more inspired, informed and ‘work ready’ applicants into the sector.

Following on from the success of the previous three years of Bradford Manufacturing Week the initiative will be taking place in the City again over 2 weeks. Since 2018 over 12,000 students from schools and colleges across the district have experienced the world of manufacturing.

The second 'Get to Know You' event - Wednesday 22nd September, 3:30pm - 5:30pm

This is your opportunity to meet and speak your matched manufacturers. You will be able to book any further unallocated activities through the BMW team. We will be monitoring the lifting of the current Covid-19 restrictions in the coming weeks to decided whether the event will take place virtually or at The Opportunity Centre.

This years initiative will take a blended approach with a mixture of both virtual and face to face activities. Based on feedback from schools, we're going to put more of a focus on apprenticeships in the sector and how and when your students can access them.

Bradford Manufacturing Weeks 2021 will allow your students to able to get involved in:

• Virtual site tours / talks
• Virtual panel sessions
• On site visits
• Work experience
