Event description

Description

George Bradshaw's 1862 guide to London acted as the essential guide book to the main areas telling Victorian tourists what to see and do in London. This walk takes in some of those sights and includes readings and discoveries of the differences between then and now. The tour ends with a chance to see Bradshaw's portrait in the National Portrait Gallery (subject to it being there at the time of the walk).

The walk will take 1½ to 2 hours. For information on travel, please use Transport for London's Journey Planner.
