'Eating Disorders and the Brain' will inIestigate eating disorders from the point of view of philosophy, psychology and neuroscience.

The St Hilda's Brain and Mind Series of workshops continues this year with the theme of 'Physical and mental health'.

The next workshop, on 'Eating Disorders and the Brain', will take place on Monday, 2nd February. 2026, 5:00-7:15pm, Jacqueline du Pre Music Building, St Hilda's College.It will investigate the topic of eating disorders from the points of view of philosophy (TBA), psychology (Prof. Rebecca Murphy, Oxford University) and neuroscience (Prof. Sylvane Desrivieres, Kings College London) . The talks will be followed by a Q&A. session.

'Eating Disorders and the Brain' is an in-person event, where all are welcome. It is free, but booking is required.
