Supporting individuals and family through brain surgery
About this event
Welcome to the first talk back in person where we will interview two patients, invite them to share their lived experience of neurosurgery. We have the whole neurosurgical team taking part, including Neurosurgeon Anna Miserocchi, Neuropsychologist Sallie Baxendale and Neurologists John Duncan and Matthew Walker, as well as other Neurosurgical staff from The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery who will be present to give medical information. The team at Queen Square are keen to support and work in partnership with patients and their families. Individuals, families and friends of those who are considering surgery and those who have already experienced it are welcomed. Time will also be given for Q&A's.
Voluntary donations to The National Brain Appeal charity are welcomed.
