Please click the 'select a date' box just above this text to see a list of upcoming available sessions, and select the one you'd like to attend. You'll then just need to fill out a few details in order to register, at which point we'll send you details of how to join.

This online, 60-minute workshop is for university support staff, student mentors, and needs assessors: professionals who will either be assessing students’ specific needs or supporting them at university. Each session will provide an introduction to the Brain in Hand digital support system including how the technology works, who can use it, the relevant referral pathways for accessing the system, and how to support students to achieve the maximum benefit from using Brain in Hand.

We'll also share with you any new updates. This includes our offer of Specialist human support for the duration of your students’ licence period, not just for setting them up on the system.

Resources will be provided for access via the Brain in Hand website, including step-by-step guides for Needs Assessors to recommend the system via Department for Education funding. There will be short video clips: a Personal Planning session, so that attendees can understand the user’s journey, and Brain in Hand users (from whom we have written consent) explaining how the system helps them. These will help potential users and supporter to understand the benefits.
