Speaker: Jan Hills, Head, Heart + Brain
There are lots of claims being made about neuroscience, and even if the science is providing interesting insights into how the brain responds can this be used in HR policy and practice?
In this practical and experiential session led by Jan Hills she will share some of the findings from neuroscience, the science of how the brain works and how this understanding can inform greater success as an HR professional and HR leader.
Jan set up Head Heart + Brain to change the way leadership and capability development is designed and delivered. Jan has a Masters in the neuroscience of leadership and before Head Heart + Brain Jan ran her own successful consulting business, was COO at an investment bank and held a number of global HRD roles.
Jan is the author of ‘Brain-savvy HR: a neuroscience evidence base’ and co-author of ‘Brain-savvy leading: neuroscience, tips and tools’. There will be a free copy of Brain-savvy Leading for people who attend the session.
