Description

Event Details:

It’s that time of the year again when we ask you to help us shape the future of the branch.

We need your ideas, opinions and enthusiasm to design a programme of events and activities to engage our members in the year ahead. All our committee roles are up for election so if you have the time and enthusiasm to get involved, please do think about standing.

We will also be using the occasion to have a discussion about technology in HR - what works, what doesn’t work and what you think is coming round the corner. Perhaps you are already using analytics and machine learning to improve the impact of HR in your organisation. Or perhaps it’s already a struggle to get managers to use the simplest of online annual leave systems! Whatever stage you’re at, come along to share your views and experiences with fellow members.

And to round it all off, we are delighted to use the occasion to recognise the achievements of some HR professionals who have recently completed qualifications with Acacia Learning.

We need your ideas, opinions and enthusiasm to design a programme of events and activities to engage our members in the year ahead. All our committee roles are up for election so if you have the time and enthusiasm to get involved, please do think about standing. There is more information about our branch roles and how to nominate yourself here.

At CIPD we're committed to Championing Better Work and Working lives which means valuing everyone. We'd love to see applications from members that reflect the diversity of our great city though their background, identity and circumstance! We need your help to shape an inclusive network that delivers outstanding support for the HR profession while allowing people to be themselves regardless of age, physical or mental ability, gender identity or reassignment, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership status, pregnancy and maternity or paternity, race or ethnicity, religion or belief.
