This event will be delivered online, via Zoom. Branding For The Bounce Back is designed to be interactive, so there will be lots of time for questions, queries, discussion and debate. For this reason there will only be five attendees. You will leave the session with practical advice on how your brand can help your business to bounce back from the impact of coronavirus on the economy.

What you will learn

In this session we are going to share 5 brand tips to drive your business success through the recession.

• Be active

We will look at why companies that maintain their brand and marketing activity are more successful during a recession. We will also discuss why it’s important to consider how your customers and competitors may have changed.

• Be prepared

We will explore why having a plan and some clear targets will help you to make the best use of your resources during the recession. This will include looking at the various elements that should be included in your plan.

• Be consistent

We will consider the importance of consistency at a time of uncertainty, and how it can build trust. To do this we will explore the role of your brand identity, and how it can help you to maintain your profile in an increasingly crowded environment.

• Be relevant

We will take some time to look at your “purpose” and your “values”, to consider how they can help you to remain relevant, in an environment defined by change. This will include a discussion about the importance of a clear proposition, in a period of uncertainty.

• Be effective

We will explore all the opportunities you have to build stronger relationships with your customers, and consider the elements that are part of your brand experience. We will discuss how brand management can help you to be more efficient and effective.

 A bit about me

I’ve been working in the creative industry for 30 years. Since 2005 I’ve been running Alder and Alder, helping organizations across the south west to make an impact. I’ve helped startups to win their first customer, and industry leaders to earn their next million.

Before that I worked in London, for clients that included HSBC, AXA Insurance, Regus, Ernst & Young, Early Learning Centre, The British Library, The National Trust, Sainsbury’s and Ashridge Management College. This event takes all of that experience and distils it into 5 practical brand tips, to help you drive your business success, through the recession and into recovery.
