Branding & Storytelling for Small Businesses
Join us for this one day workshop as part of the Digital Boost Exeter programme.
A one-day workshop on Branding and Storytelling that will give you an opportunity to best define to your audiences who you are, what you do for them, why your business exists, and create content that will resonate with your target customers at the various stages of their discovery and engagement journeys, by allowing them to align to a better-defined and identifiable story, voice, values and mission.
The morning session will be dedicated to an interactive exercise aimed at defining your brand positioning so that you can:
- Gain clarity and communicate or phrase better who you are, what you offer, what problems your products/services solve and the benefits they bring to your customers. All in a story format that best suits current digital marketing trends techniques.
- Use a common language across your organisation so that everybody involved will know what to say and how to phrase it when trying to attract new prospects or create long-term value-rich relationships with existing customers.
- Create copy and content types that address, attract, convert and retain a higher number of qualified leads through your ads, blogs, e-mails, phone calls, etc.
- Understand and address customers’ objections when they are questioning whether buying your product/service is necessary or the ‘right’ solution to their problem.
The afternoon session will instead be a hands-on creative experience. Through an exercise based on the use of storytelling trigger cards, we will explore how approaching the production of content from different angles and perspective could help you design or think of relatable stories that your customers and prospects will be craving to consume and that only you and your business will be able to tell.
You will walk away from the session with a piece of content ready for you to test and publish right after the workshop.
Suitable for: owners and employees of small or micro businesses, whose brand identity and positioning is new, has changed, morphed or needs some re-shaping and better definition, because of the pandemic or sudden growth. No prior knowledge of digital marketing or branding is needed, however a willingness and openness to create, share, and brainstorm on the spot will be necessary to achieve better outcomes.
