About this Event
Spend a day in the stable at our beautiful base at Pipers Farm.
Set in the stable next to the orchard, during the day we will focus on using wild yeasts and creating your own sourdough loaves at home as-well as looking after your own starter. We will also focus on using more readily available yeast to create simpler loaves such as focaccia. Of course there will be a few sweeter breads involved in the day as we take a look at making brioche and cinnamon buns.
To wrap the day up we will be creating our own butter as well as tasting the differences in cultured and non cultured butter.
There will be a one course lunch around midday and plenty of tasty loaves for you to take home.
Starting at 10.00am with the day drawing to a close at 5.00pm.
