'I had a fantastic day learning how to bake at Hen Corner. Sara welcomed me with a warm cinnamon swirl and organic tea in her lovely garden. The chickens were all around and you can breath a fresh healthy air (it really doesn't seem to be in London!). During the day we learnt to bake different types of sweet and sour breads and my family couldn't believe their eyes when they saw (and tasted) what I baked. Thanks Sara for your hospitality, I will definitely recommend Hen Corner's courses!' TripAdvisor, September 2015
'Hen Corner is a charming place where ordinary people are doing extraordinary things, and showing us how we can have a slice of the country life in an urban environment.' Spencer, 17 June 2014
When & Where
Sara Ward, Hen Corner
‘Since moving into her West London home a few years ago, Sara Ward and her husband Andy have industriously set up Hen Corner, where they now have a stunning kitchen garden – with raised beds full of seasonal crops – fruit and nut trees, a flock of clucking hens and a beehive with busy bees hard at work making honey.’ Michele Jameson, Country Living Magazine
We are Hen Corner.
We love the bee keepers, the veggie bed diggers, the jam makers and cider drinkers, the chicken fanciers and the real bread bakers.
But not just in the deepest darkest countryside or the far, far away villages but right here in our cities and towns.
So, come on a course and join us on the journey…
