Event description

Description

Break the Silence are delighted to invite you to our second annual conference, providing the opportunity for people working in the field of health, care and person centred support to come together and explore the impact and challenges arising from complex trauma.

Speakers at the conference will include:

Detective Inspector Kerr Duncan and colleagues from Police Scotland.

Duncan Craig, trauma-informed psychotherapist, CEO and founder of Survivors Manchester.

Dr Nina Burrowes, psychologist, author of 'The courage to be me', creator of 'Sexual abuse: The questions you've never had the chance to ask', and founder of 'The Consent Collective'.

Madeleine Black, psychotherapist, Patron for Say Women, story teller for The Forgiveness Project, and author of 'Unbroken'.

Matthew McVarish, actor, writer and activist, will be performing a dramatised version of his one-man show on his award-winning project the 'Road to Change'.

We hope that you will make time to come to this event to learn, network and to discuss how together we can promote equality for Survivors.
