Overview

Poetry Workshops with Christopher Seymour - open to all!

Break the Silence poetry workshops offer a welcoming space for creative expression, reflection, and connection. Held at Manchester Poetry Library, these sessions invite participants to explore themes to find their voice, resilience, and healing through poetry. Whether you’re new to writing or an experienced poet, you’ll be guided to craft words that speak your truth and challenge silence. Workshops include writing prompts, group discussion, and optional sharing, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Led by MMU nursing lecturer and poet, Christopher Seymour, Break the Silence encourages participants to harness the power of poetry to express and make space for personal and collective stories to emerge.

Christopher Seymour is a performance poet and Lecturer in Adult Nursing, and a specialist in Palliative care.
