About this event

Join us for our second Breaking Barriers in STEM event "Down the Rabbit Hole", a knowledge exchange event for improving equality, diversity, and inclusivity in STEM at Scottish Universities.

The event will begin with a networking lunch with exhibitions from university EDI committees, organisations, and charities working to make STEM in Scotland an inclusive and accessible space.

This will be followed by keynote speakers and a panel discussion focused on the following topics:

- Decolonising STEM

- The Leaky Pipeline

- Expanding Our Reach (International)

- Mental Health and Wellbeing

The event is open to anyone in academia with an interest in improving equality, diversity, and inclusivity in STEM in Scotland. There will be a strict code of conduct in place to ensure speakers and attendees feel respected and safe.

The venue is equipped to meet accessibility needs, there is free parking on site, and quiet rooms available on request.

This event is organised by SULSA, and supported by ScotCHEM, SICSA, and SINAPSE research pools.
