During the course of this one day conference we will discuss the interdisciplinary approach which we have developed at King’s College Hospital, how it has evolved, how it works and what our outcomes are. The day focuses on functional recovery after brain injury and how the MDT addresses the challenges this raises in the acute setting.

This one day conference is intended for those working with or have an interest in children and young people in the early stages of recovery and rehabilitation after acquired brain injury.
The presentations will be given by a range of disciplines including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, specialist nursing and medical specialists in neurorehabilitation as well as patients and families.
