Breaking Down the Barriers Train the Trainer - CAMHS in Primary Care

Trainers interested in raising awareness and understanding of mental health issues among children and young people are invited to the UCLPartners Breaking Down the Barriers Train the Trainer session for Child and Adolescent Mental Health in Primary Care, in association with YoungMinds.
- Exploring child and adolescent mental health and emotional wellbeing and resilience from a GP practice perspective
- Understanding young people’s perspectives and what they say is important to them when interacting with health professionals
- Examining issues and the resilience framework relating to young people’s mental health and how resilience can be looked at as both an early intervention to support children and young people in distress
At the end of the course, you will understand and be able to promote awareness of issues relating to child and adolescent mental health, understand resilience framework, and be able to plan, prepare and deliver the training session on child and adolescent mental health and resilience in primary care settings.
