About this event

In the last Alison Rose* Review of Female Entrepreneurship report from 2019, the first priority was to fully understand the barriers which hold UK women back from starting or scaling businesses. By analysing barriers at each stage, they've identified opportunities to help more women succeed as entrepreneurs, including the most suitable business models.

So what are the main barriers?

  • Finance
  • Family Commitments
  • Industry Experience
  • Skills – e.g. IT / Sales
  • Lack of confidence
  • Fear of dept, failure and asking for help

Join our free webinar with Pam Gordon, Franchising Consultant , to find out more about the different business models that might help and support women into business and self-employment, including

  • Own Idea
  • Agency
  • Distribution
  • Licensing
  • Franchising
  • Q&A

Pam will explore all the different models and how they might help in some forms to overcome the barriers into business for women.

We will look at creating an action plan to follow up and research with sign-posting for further information and support to explore the different options

*Alison Rose, Deputy CEO, NatWest Holdings and CEO, Commercial & Private Banking
