If you're over 18 years old and want to learn more about how to break the shackles of the worry chain, this is for you.
During this signature It’s a Playground workshop, we dive into what worry is, when it's helpful and unhelpful and how we can better question and manage worry (breaking the worry chain) and other loud thoughts. We'll look at practical, science-based tips on how to improve our mental fitness.
The 60 minute session will be a blend of anonymous polls, videos, activities and chat engagement and will cover:
- Exploring the VUCA concept, it’s relevance and impact
- What is worry and how does it impact us?
- How to break the worry cycle
- Practical ways to healthily manage worry and boost our emotional wellbeing
Your Facilitator:
This session will be run by It's a Playground Founder, Laura Rigden (Expert MHFA and SFA Instructor)
It'll also be an opportunity to connect with others and share tips and tools with each other and you’ll receive a digital editable handout and additional tools to share with your community.
The session is completely free for anyone living or working in the Borough of Lambeth, London and for any MHFAiders, SFAiders or Wellbeing Champions that have accessed their certifications through It's a Playground.
For everyone else, there are affordable tickets available (£15pp or £125 for 10 places) and all proceeds will go back into creating more specialist content for these open workshops for the year.
