About this event

Music • Alternative

Palace Acappella Choir leader Eleanor Rastall teams up with local Breathwork and Holistic Life Coach Kathleen Robinson to offer a uniquely fun and wellbeing-orientated singing and breathwork session.

This workshop is for any adults who enjoy singing and/or want to explore breathwork - and find out what wellbeing, health, confidence and energetic benefits flow from these, as well as the interlink between the two.

Included in the workshop are:

- a vocal and physical warm up to relax and engage

- a variety of breathwork exercises and exploration of the benefits and reasons behind these

- learning some new songs from scratch, by ear

- a short meditation

- the chance to meet new, local, like-minded people

Kathleen Robinson is a Breathwork and Holistic Life Coach passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves through the breath. She works with individuals, groups, and organisations to create balance, presence, and energy. She loves showing how breathwork supports wellbeing, creativity, and confidence — in everyday life and in unique spaces like singing.

Eleanor Rastall is a London-based Choir Leader and Singing teacher with nearly 20 years experience. She loves helping people find and explore their voices, learn how to sing with ease and flow, relax and enjoy whatever singing they want to do!

Palace Acappella is a non-auditioned community choir in the heart of Crystal Palace. We value social connection and being part of the local community, collaboration and a supportive space to find and develop your voice and skills. And we perform locally. A lot! Choir members say:

🎶 I love [choir] for the combination of challenge, camaraderie and joy it brings me

🎶 A lovely way to loosen up, learn loads and laugh a lot

🎶 Highlight of the week - helps relieve the stresses of the daily grind

🎶 You can have had a stressful day but once the warm ups start it’s easy to shake it off and lose yourself in singing
