Organized by

The Women’s Museum is a social, cultural space for everyone, platforming ideas, issues and histories relating to women, girls, trans and nonbinary communities through art and culture.

A broad and lively programme of exhibitions and public events happens in the Museum - a generative, conversational space to support activity informed by voices from across communities of London.

It is a safe space for local people. The Women’s Museum will keep evolving and changing and so that our identity is shaped by the communities who use it.

The Museum's programme is led by New Town Culture in the LBBD Culture and Heritage Team, building on deep, robust networks with communities, services and local infrastructure in LBBD. We work with artists local and internationally to reflect on the experiences of women, girls, trans and nonbinary communities in East London.
