A 2 Hour INTRODUCTION TO MINDFULNESS BASED COGNITIVE THERAPY (MBCT)

We live at a time when personal, collective and planetary wellbeing are increasingly under pressure. Burnout has reached epidemic levels and the World Health Organisation annouced earlier this year that depression is now the leading cause of ill health and disability worldwide.

Mindfulness offers us a practical approach for restoring and strengthening ourselves, and our world. And the good news is, it is an innate capacity that we all possess.

This two-hour workshop will cover:

  • Definitions of mindfulness

  • An overview of the science and benefits

  • An explanation of MBCT and MBSR

  • Practical applications in life and work

  • Two mindfulness practices - an experiential taster

  • Addressing any questions that you may have
