Breathwork for Ancestral Connection with Live Cello

Connect with the love, strength and wisdom of your lineage.Join experienced facilitators Lizzie Keates and Kat Ballam in the Ashton Court Mansion for a sacred breathwork ceremony devoted to ancestral connection.

Held close to Mabon, the Celtic festival of the autumn equinox, this ceremonial breathwork journey invites you to bring the presence of an ancestor whose love, strength and wisdom you wish to connect with and give thanks for. Drop into a lovingly held space that weaves together breath, ritual and music, with live heart-opening cello.

Through Holosomatic Breath Therapy—a fusion of conscious breath and somatic touch—you’ll be supported to release what no longer serves and receive the gifts that flow from deep connection with yourself and your lineage.

No previous experience needed—just a willingness to show up and surrender to the breath.

Flow of the ceremony

  • Embodied movement practice to land together in the space
  • Welcome circle, introducing our ancestor and setting an intention for the ceremony
  • Guided grounding and visualisation meditation
  • 1 hour breath journey
  • Integration and space for journaling
  • Closing circle with optional sharing
