What is “Breathwork”?:
Breathwork is a ceremonial journey into an altered state of both your sub-conscious and un-conscious, looking into your shadow. This is done by performing continuous rhythmical breathing, guided by powerful evoking music and language that links and aligns to the specific topic of the session.
This Breathwork:
This Breathwork is for anyone, it invites you to look at the Sovereign (Queen or King) archetype within you. How balanced is your Sovereign energy? Healthy, balanced and empowered Sovereign energy is that of; knowing yourself, your purpose, vision and direction in the world. It's all about running your life in the best possible way, from the heart. This is the part of you that makes important decisions about how to live your life, knowing your values and sticking to them.
I invite you to step up and breathe into energy that may be in shadow for you, stuck, or slightly lost and to bring it into your awareness so you can process it and act upon it.. Thoughts of "I do not exist", "I'm not good enough" might be driving your sub-conscious thoughts and playing out in your everyday life holding you back from fullfilment, joy and growth.
An empowered Queen/King energy is full of joy, clarity, purpose and service. They are here to lead and inspire. Do you feel you could do with more empowerment in this area? It’s time to re-connect, connect on a deeper level and embody these emotions and feelings.
Method:
In the most simplistic terms, all you need to do is turn up, lie down, stay committed to the breathing technique (in through the mouth, out through the mouth) keep your focus on your breath and allow. Allow your body to do what it knows, allow your brain waves to lower their frequency, allow your hormones and endorphins to release, and let your pre-frontal cortex quiet down so your sub-conscious can come alive.
What to expect:
Everyone’s journey is different, but you may experience: visions, emotional releases, insights, deep relaxation and mental clarity. You may also experience all of these in just one sitting.
The music for this session has been carefully composed to evoke different elements of your inner Warrior. You will journey up and down a metaphorical inner Warrior mountain.
As you stand at the bottom of your journey, expansive downtempo trance grounds you into the moment and into your breath, you wonder in ore, not knowing what will occur, but acknowledging what you are about to undertake.
Norse & Pagan sounds with evocative female vocals build your breath and energy to take on the mountain. Then comes the climb, with sounds of Black Coffee African house music and more evocative female vocals, the drums and rhythm build your tempo and depth.
Then the peak, the last push, now the drums, rhythm and tempo have all increased, and you breathe deeply into your body, charging all the way to the top, this is your moment.
After the peak, after all the effort, the music drops and you allow yourself to let go, to open, and to expand.
With more expansive downtempo it’s time for spaciousness and deeper expansion within your entire mind-body-soul. Finally its time to re-ground, allowing for insight and reflection on the journey.

About Me:
For the past 13 years I’ve been a strength and conditioning coach and holistic lifestyle coach. In the last 7 years I've delved into the world of healing, growth and empowerment. I have a deep passion for strengthening and healing the Mind-Body-Soul, music and understanding the human psyche through Jungian archetypes. With that, and the energy that naturally resonates within me, I have brought all three together into my Breathwork.
The Essentials:
No experiance is needed, you will be taught the very simple breathing technique at the start of the session, and will be reminded throughout the session.
- Wear relaxed loose clothing.
- Mats, blankets and eye masks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
- Please bring water, and a note pad can be useful.
- Please do not eat 2-3 hours before breathing.
If you have any of the following contraidications, it's advised not to partcipate:
- Cardiovascular disease
- Detached retina or glucoma
- Diagnosed brain or abdomen aneursym
- Epilepsy
- Diagnosed bipolar schizophrenia
- Uncontrolled diabetes or thyriod conditions
- High blood pressure
- Pregnancy
