Breathwork for practitioner well-being, regulation & developing presence
Overview
WORKSHOP RECORDED AND ALL TICKET HOLDERS WILL RECEIVE THE RECORDING
Breathwork is widely known for it's benefits. The breath is the only system of the autonomic nervous system that we can have conscious control over, and the breath is intricately linked to the heart, the digestive system and the brain...so learning how to harness the power of the breath can keep the brain, heart, gut connection in synch, supporting wholeness, intuition, wisdom and overall health.
We can learn to harness the breath both during a session with a client and between, to enhance our self-care.
In this 1.5 hr session, via zoom, with Kate, you'll learn some of the theory behind breathwork and simple practices to:-
- help you to self-regulate in a session and in doing so co-regulate your client
- help you find stillness and remain grounded when your client has lost their anchor
- reduce your vulnerability to vicarious trauma
- enhance your self-care regime. We'll learn practices for anxiety, sleep, digestion and general wellbeing.
Wear loose comfy, have cushions and a blanket to hand as well as a couple of heavy(ish)books. Create a relaxing atmosphere - light some candles, dim the lights, play some relaxing music.
PLEASE NOTE: fees are non-refundable within the 7 days leading up to the event.
