Event Details

September in Cornwall showcases the best in Art, Design and Heritage Craft at the Autumn show, Breeze Art & Makers Fair. Set in West Cornwall’s beautiful Trereife House, this art & design event which will showcase the very best designer-makers and artists in the region, with three days of exhibitions, workshops, talks and demonstrations. Breeze Fair 2021 will profile the finest craftsmanship and contemporary art, presenting the work of over 80 selected artists and makers, presenting work for sale from furniture makers, ceramics, sculptors, jewellers, tetxtiles and glass artists and exhibiting collections from artists of the South West’s leading Schools of Art.

In addition, the elegant interior of Trereife House will be open to visitors as the backdrop for a special exhibition.
Outside, the parterre and long border of Trereife’s formal gardens will be the venue an exhibition of outdoor sculpture. The Walled Garden will host live Raku firings, smithing, willow weaving, alongside 13 hosted demonstrations. In the Education Marquee, Breeze Fair 2021 will offer a programme of drop-in design-led workshops and demonstrations, alongside a pop-up café and artisan cake outlet.

In the main exhibition tents, there will be a stylish Design lounge, with Prosecco and specialist gins on offer, while in the estate’s courtyard, visitors will find a café and artisan food market offering quality fayre from local producers, alongside freshly prepared food options of vegan and Cornish treats.

Breeze Art and Makers CIC

Breeze Art and Makers CIC are a not-for-profit company with a mission to improve the skills and opportunities of young people looking to make a career in a professional art and craft skill. 

Breeze Art and Makers Fair is the rejuventation of the established Cornwall Design Fair, which began in 2006 at Godolphin House, Cornwall.

The fair will be run by Miranda Leonard and Samme Charlesworth, both of whom have experience of running large events and who are very involved with the world of art and craft.
