Join us for a full day of activities and talks that explore the Caribbean diaspora and their pioneers, as well as their lasting legacies.

Join us at Brent Civic Centre from 6 to 9pm, as we immerse ourselves in a Caribbean Front Room installation to explore the Caribbean and Black British experience through objects, family, and the home.
Hear from community leaders and artists in a panel discussion that explores the legacies of colonialism and empire in relation to the Windrush diaspora while looking ahead to modern context.
Guests include:
• Michael McMillan, playwright, artist and Curator of the West Indian Front Room at Museum of the Home
• Yvonne Bailey Smith, author and psychotherapist
• Kyron J. Greenwood, Producer and educator
• Julian Hall, entrepreneur, educator, author & founder and CEO of ULTRA Education and representative from the Black Community Action Plan.
Chaired by: Patricia Wharton who is an author, talk show host and advocate for change and empowerment,
Enjoy light refreshments and entertainment by Natalie Lindi and the Skaticians Band as we bring the evening to a close.
