We are delighted to invite you to take part in a practical workshop, delivered by the School of Artisan Food in partnership with the Food and Drink Manufacturers Skills Programme.

Brewing Workshop

Micro-breweries and real ale appreciation is on the rise.

Discover more about brewing from one of the region’s top brewers with a series of discussions, tutored beer tastings and a special tour of Welbeck Abbey Brewery.

You will learn;

  • About the micro-brewing process

  • The different beer varieties available in the UK

  • The changing tastes of British drinkers

The conference is fully funded by the ESF D2N2 Skills for Growth Project

Please remember that if you cannot attend the event you must cancel 48 hours prior to the event through Eventbrite, otherwise we may have to charge in full for your place.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this funded course, you must meet the small business eligiblity criteria, set out in the booking form.

  • You must employ less than 250 employees

  • Be a manufacturer of food or drink products

  • Have a manufacturing base in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire
