Gina Miller in conversation with Roberta Guerrina

Gina Miller

Businesswoman, transparency activist and philanthropist, who won a landmark legal case in the Supreme Court which stopped the Government invoking Article 50 without seeking Parliament's approval. She has campaigned for the Government to fully release its Brexit impact reports, and for Parliament to have a free vote on the outcome of the negotiations, leading to an Act of Parliament. She believes in active civic duty, and especially wants women to "use their voice" to hold institutions to account.

Roberta Guerrina

Jean Monnet Chair, Professor of Politics and Head of Department at the University of Surrey. She is a specialist in the politics of gender, with a particular interest in EU politics and social policy, citizenship and gender equality. She has published in the area of women's human rights, work-life balance, identity politics, and the UN Security Council's resolution 1325 on women's role in peace and security.
