Brexit, the 'Great Repeal Bill' & Delegated Legislation Training Course
Fri 7 April 2017, 09:30 – 12:30 BST
This course will provide an overview of the forthcoming ‘Great Repeal Bill’ and the likely process by which the Bill will convert existing EU law into UK domestic law on Brexit day. By attending this course participants will learn about:
- The objectives and likely provisions to be contained within the ‘Great Repeal Bill’
- The delegated legislation journey in Whitehall: from delegated power to statutory instrument
- The scrutiny of delegated legislation in both Houses of Parliament
Who is this course for?
This course is for professionals who are required to monitor and engage with Brexit-related primary and secondary legislation.
