Brexit: Whither globalisation?
Wed 2 November 2016, 18:30 – 20:30 GMT
This event has now sold out. However, you still can buy Professor Eichengreen's book, 'Hall of Mirrors'.
On Wednesday, 2nd November we will be holding our next Brexit event.
Is Britain’s lurch away from Europe a sign of denial in an inter-connected world, or could it be an early sign of globalisation as a whole spinning into reverse.
Panellists for this debate will include:
- Wolfgang Munchau - who’s road map of the options for Britain’s future relations with Europe appears in the latest issue of Prospect published on Thursday 15 September;
- Professor Barry Eichengreen - eminent US economist who will be writing on globalisation in next month’s issue of Prospect.
- Duncan Weldon - former Economics Editor of Newsnight.
- Tom Clark, Editor of Prospect (chair)
This debate will be held at our offices, 2 Queen Anne’s Gate, London, SW1H 9AA from 6.30 – 7.45 pm followed by a drinks reception.
Tickets are £10 for Prospect subscribers and £12 for non-subscribers.
