EUnity Lewes are pleased to announce that Gavin Esler will be giving our next talk on Thursday 12 September at 8 pm (doors open 7.15 pm). He will be discussing key aspects of Brexit, including how this most momentous change in Britain for decades could affect everyday life. The talk will be followed by a chaired Q&A session with the audience.

Gavin has recently written a book on Brexit: Brexit Without The Bullshit which is published by Canbury Press. It reveals how Brexit will impact major areas of life in the UK such as Health and the NHS, Jobs and Industry, and Travel to Europe. Gavin will be signing copies of the book which will be available to purchase on the evening.

Gavin is an award-winning TV and radio broadcaster. He was the BBC’s North America correspondent and was a main presenter of BBC Two’s political analysis programme Newsnight from 2002 to 2014. He has interviewed many political leaders including Margaret Thatcher, David Cameron, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and Ed Miliband, as well as President Clinton, President Carter and President Chirac. He is the author of five novels, and three non-fiction books including Lessons from the Top – a study in how leaders tell stories to make other people follow them. Gavin is the Chancellor of Kent University and a renowned public speaker.
