About this event

Brickfield is a temporary experimental brickworks that invites people to look again at the clay country skytips and pits with an eye to a sustainable future.

Skilled brick makers, like our local legend, John Osborne could make up to 900 bricks in a day by hand and working in pairs. Take on the Brickfield Brickathon challenge to make 100 bricks in a day per person!

Join us on the Brickfield site at Imerys' Blackpool Pit at 10.00am and stay til 4.00pm and let's see what we can do.
