Description

The Heritage Food Festival will be held on Saturday 11th May 2019 at St Mary's Guildhall and St Peter at Gowt’s Church Hall, Sibthorp Street, Lincoln between 10am-4pm.

An exciting day celebrating the food heritage of the Lower High Street in Lincoln ~ past and present.

A traditional smokehouse is being built in the grounds of St Peter at Gowts Church on Friday 10th May 2019 and members of the public can bring in their own food to be smoked on Saturday 11th May 2019 (booking essential).

Great Family Recipe Share 11am - 1pm - celebrating YOUR food heritage - bring along your favourite family recipe and your mobile phone!

Family Favourites Cookery Competition - Enter our cookery competition - Children's and Adults Categories - Judging 1pm - 2pm, Winners announced at 3pm.

Stalls - The Material Culture of Cookery Down the Ages, Antiquarian Cookbooks, Historic Recipes, Portuguese Food , Medieval Food Heritage and much more...
